welcome to creative mayhem
I started Creative Mayhem out of my love for vintage crafts & decor. I’ve always been drawn to vintage objects and textiles as they are a reminder of days gone by, of a simpler time spent appreciating the beauty surrounding us.
After crafting for many years and sharing my projects with family and friends, I soon realized that not everyone could be creative so easily. I learned that many were paralyzed with fear, procrasticanation, or perfectionism. . . some of the same things I was struggling with myself.
That’s when I decided to document my process and my own journey in the hopes of inspiring others to find their own creative purpose. My passion now is to document my creative journey in the hopes of inspiring others to start their next project.
So come along on this adventure and you too will soon discover that:
Creativity is a Journey . . . not a Destination

Hello
I am passionate about being creative and learning new things each and every day. For years I suffered with procrastinating perfectionist syndrome which left me paralyzed from even starting any creative project. If you feel the same, my hope is to inspire you to ditch that fear of getting started and create some MAYHEM!
