Floss Guide: What is a Home / Jan Hicks Creates

Jan Hicks Creates

What is a Home Cross Stitch Pattern

Jan created this gorgeous sampler from a quote she say that said what is a home without a sampler? She states “I built on the quote, using traditional sampler motifs and decorative border designs, making this into a band sampler, which I love.” I couldn’t agree more!

The little border rows look so fun to stitch. Her colors she chose will really pop and add that burst of color to any decor. The model is stitched on 40 ct Mayflower by Fox and Rabbit Designs using one strand of NPI silk floss over two linen threads. Jan also includes a DMC conversion as well. Stitch count 162 x 196.

The chart and flosses are listed below for your shopping convenience.
